grazing at massey pony club

Massey Pony Club offers grazing to a set number of horses and ponies each season. During the Pony Club season (October – April) we have the capacity for 20 horses and ponies, but during Winter we can only cater for up to 12 due to the wetter conditions.

Winter Grazing spaces are selected by Committee using a number of criteria, including grazers’ contribution to the club and participation in events and working bees during the season. Grazing at the club is in herds, organized by size (hacks/ponies) and if the numbers allow it, by mares and geldings. Grazers must be current financial members of the club, with fees paid in full, before the start of the Summer grazing season.
